CBS Music
In the CBS we have a vibrant and expanding musical life. As well as studying music for state exams, a student may get involved in singing and instrumental music both during the school day and outside school hours.
Homework
|
If you have been given an assignment for school, this is where you'll find it. All the details should be there when you click. Make sure it's done and handed in on time!

Private Tuition
|
After school hours, we offer tuition on a range of instruments:
Piano, flute, oboe, recorder, clarinet and saxophone are most popular as these lead to a very sociable musical career, usually as a member of a band.
We also offer theory and music appreciation classes to both full-time students as well as adults from all walks of life.

Midleton Male-Voice Choir
|
Every Tuesday night during the academic year the Midleton Male Voice Choir meets in Room 16 in The CBS. Under the musical direction of d'Skinner and with John Buckley in the Chair, good music and good fun are always the order of the day.

|
A new venture in The CBS, our women's choir, Cantóirí na Mainistreach was founded by d'Skinner in September 2001. Like the Midleton Male-Voice Choir, the ladies choir is a social group who use music as a means of relaxation and fun.
In 2004, Cantóirí won the Wolfe Perpetual Shield in Féile an tSamhraidh. Click to see the adjudication sheet.

Every Halloween Break d'Skinner takes a group of students away for a weekend in London. We try to get in as many events as we can during our four-day trip. The trip is both fun and educational and open to any student who is deemed to be capable of getting along with the group and behaving appropriately.
